In recognition of her invaluable contributions and highly inspiring personality she possesses, Chief (Mrs.) Faparusi Adedoyin Adekoya has been singled out for the prestigious chieftaincy title of Otun Iya Oba of Ibogun Balogun Owu Land in Ogun State.
The honour, coming up on the historic 1st year anniversary of Alayeluwa Oba (Dr.) Fakayode Faluade (Anikinnikun Ilufemiloye 1), the Olu of Ibogun Balogun Land has been put together to appreciate all sons and daughters of the Land who possess exemplary personality that have impacted positively on the Land.
According to the Kabiyesi, Oba Faluade, Chief (Mrs.) Adedoyin Adekoya deserved the honour based on her unfolding love to mankind, coupled with her noble personality and passion for nation-building.
In a letter released from the Ibogun Balogun Ajuwon Palace, dated 23rd July, 2018, and duly signed by the Oba Dr. Faluade himself, it states among others, “it is my great pleasure that you accept this offer while the installation day will come up on 9th December, 2018. I congratulate you as I look forward to your acceptance of this Titleship offer”.
