That the Nigeria Police Force had, in the past produced a number of unique officers, who did the Force proud in sports is saying the obvious. One spectacular member of the Force who was recently promoted to the rank of Inspector is no doubt a celebrity in his own right.
Just as the likes of King Sunny Ade, Davido, Whizkid, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Pasuma and many others are making waves doing their secular thing, Adeyinka Ishola Isiaka, fondly referred to as Askari Fuji is not only using his kind of music to entertain music buffs, rather he’s bent on using his medium to project the corporate image of the Nigeria Police Force with his music.
The newly-promoted officer who has since been decorated after their brilliant performance in their Inspectorate at Nigerian Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, South West Nigeria has called for an enlightenment event where men of the Force could relate with one another under a relaxing atmosphere to educate all its ranks and file on the need to boost the corporate image of the Force. This, in his words will go a long way in boosting their morale and ensure its confidence on members of the public.
Askari Fuji, beaming with loads of resourceful ideas in encouraging his numerous colleagues which according to him has long been awaited by the general public, the need for the Force PRO to look into an event where the do’s and dont’s of the Force will be reiterated to its members cannot be over emphasized.
In a chat with SAFARI NEWS, he says having a regular event like he’s proposing where various talented officers will be on display will go a long way in giving the officers sense of belonging, they will sure be proud of their job and the implication of this is that they will be more than ready to discharge their duties with diligence and commitment. This is what the society requires from the Force at this crucial time.”
According to him, Askari Fuji told emphatically he’s more than willing to work with the image making outfit of the Force to fathom how to stage such a regular event which he added will be the best forum to pass result-oriented messages to members of the public and men of the Force at large. With this laudable event, so many vices in the society will be addressed because members of the public will be proud of the Force and ready to work with them in realizing their primary duties.
“Aside from my core duty as a policeman, this is what I enjoy doing, music is part of me and I look forward of propagating the image of Nigeria Police Force to the world”, Askari told SAFARI NEWS.
In appreciation of the promotion gesture however, Adeyinka, on behalf of his numerous newly-promoted colleagues was full of gratitude to the new Inspector-General of Police and will be going to the studio to record an album in honour of the Police Force leadership. When the album is eventually released, it will be the 7th effort of the Police singing machine.
