KWARA GUBER ASPIRANT, DR. BOLA OLAOSEBIKAN (OON) PROFFERS STRATEGIC SOLUTION TO HERDSMEN/FARMERS CLASHES

Kwara’s gubernatorial aspirant and foremost health strategist, Dr. Bola Olaosebikan (OON) has lent his voice towards the adoption of the possible lasting solution to the incessant herdsmen/farmers clashes and killings in some parts of the country.

Rather than allow the clashes to plunge the nation into unnecessary crisis, the statesman has advised lawmakers to look into turning the development into economic transformation because there are lots that the nation requires than the unnecessary raging attacks by the cattle herdsmen.

In his words through his spokesman, Mr. Dele Aberuagba, “The only way we can get out of this is to create and build ranches for the herdsmen, this will ostensibly pave way for economic opportunity out of the prevailing development”.

The renowned health practitioner cum publisher who has been visible in 30 states in the country propagating his mission to deliver good health to the people nationwide strongly believes that animal husbandry is a business. “Therefore, since it is a private business by owners of the cows, they should be made to set up like potteries and ensure their cows, just like chickens are fed well until they are sold by the owners”.

Dr. Olaosebikan, according to his spokesman advised the establishment of ranches, which he claims is the solution to herdsmen/farmers’ clashes because of the possible great industrial benefits and economic potentials of jobs creation, investments, production of better cows and all forms of livestock.

In doing so, Dr. Olaosebikan assured cattle and livestock at ranches will receive better attention from veterinary doctors and the children of owners of cattle can also attend schools. “And ultimately, the nation and various states will also enjoy peace and industrial development”.

The pioneer health strategist, who’s been known to be the most populous gubernatorial candidate in Kwara State come 2019 elections has therefore called on lawmakers to address the idea of turning the herdsmen/farmers clashes into economic development opportunity in the country which he added has the potentials of eventually turning around the fortunes of the nation.
