OGUN STATE TOAN CELEBRATES OBASANJO’S PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY COMMISSIONING

In recognition of his crusade on usage of three-wheeled tricycle popularly known as Keke Napep, Keke Marwa, executive officers and members of Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN) has thrown its support behind Nigeria’s past president, Chief Aremu Olusegun Obasanjo on the official commissioning of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) scheduled for March 4 in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Coming under the auspices of its TOAN’s national president Augustine Apeh and his Ogun state chairman, Tirimisiyu Muraina, felicitating with the “Father of NAPEP” was indeed one of our ways to appreciate Chief Obasanjo for propagating the usage of the tricycle which has greatly cushioned the transportation system in the country. According to Tirimisiyu, “we cannot say enough of what Obasanjo means to us, especially in Ogun state, we are proud to have him as our father and we would always be there to support any good cause he’s identified with.”

He went on, “establishing the library is indeed a worthy cause for both the young and old to continue to learn, this is one unending cause we must all embrace. If at the age of 70, Obasanjo do not think of all his achievements in the past and present and still consider it worthy to head for the university to obtain degree, then it is a pointer to all that we require knowledge at every point in our lives. The library he has established and commissioning is something we should all embrace and make use of, this is when Obasanjo will more than fulfilled, even when he is no more. This cause will surely live after him. He is our great father of the nation”
